network printers
 

Hi all,

I have a Redhat EL-5 Server ...
In my office we have thin clients only but we have 100 thin clients.but only we are having 30 printers ... those 100 HP thin clients directly connected with servern with the use 10 switches...

i want to share the printers which have been connected through thin clients. Please guide me to set up network printers..

When you set up a printer using the CUPS browser interface( localhost:631 ), you are given an option to share it. I would assume that other utilities would include this option, but I always use the browser interface.
