network neighborhood
Windows sees my samba sever in network neighborhood. But win I click on the sever Icon, I get theis " Network path not found" or something like my server doesnt exhist. Can anyone help?

/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start
should bring it up however you need to have permission to view the folders if the logged in user is not a user on the system you need to enable the pcguest |
Im useing the new Redhat 7.3 the documentation I have read says that i dont need to run that. Perhaps I do, does this make a difference?

or you need to run nmbd and smbd
but smb does both and is setup to start automatically on boot run setup > system services > select smb save > quit |
