Network Monitoring/Usage tools?

I'm looking for a tool that can provide me with the following:

1) Network usage over a period (say daily, weekly and monthly)

2) Protocol breakdown (more than just TCP, UDP, ICMP)

3) Usage stats per host

Ideally I'm looking for a linux equivalent of Packeteer (if anything like that exists)

Can anyone help?

I've only had a cursory glance at it but cricket might do the job.
