Network Manager Applet keeps asking for authentication

I'm using F10. Wireless is configured, and working nicely. Only problem is that every time I boot the laptop I get the "Wireless Network Authentication Required" dialog for my WPA. All I have to do is hit OK and I'm authenticated. Why does it keep popping up?

Note - I doubt this is a router issue, because I recently changed routers and the same is happening on the new one.

Thanks for the info! Installed wicd and it's working perfectly!

Possible solution

On my system (Debian Squeeze with XFCE4) this was caused by me not having gnome-keyring installed. Once I installed it nm-applet immediately tried to access the default keyring and the keyring manager required a password for the new keyring. Once this was entered I could disconnect and connect to my wireless network without being asked anything.
