Hello,
I have an Eee PC 904HD using Easy Peasy Intrepid Ibex, but when i try to use the ethernet cable the GNOME NetworkManager Applet try to connect but in some seconds it fails and say that are no cable connected and the NetworkManager Applet crash, but remember that this problem occurs every time that i try to connect a internet cable in my computer, in the home, office and in my friends house, but what i can do to solve this issue.
GNMA is rubbish.
Uninstall it and install wicd from here
If that doesn't work for you, it is really easy to edit the /etc/network/interfaces file manually to do all the work for you to set up an internet connection.
You could also search LQ (see, above - [SEARCH] ) for my username and the term /etc/network/interfaces to see many examples of how to do this.
