I had another fedora 6 box. But that one can work no problem, and rc.local does not have /sbin/ifup eth0. Just want to find out Why?

dfw123,
i dunno what happend to your PC, but I know you need to manually turn it on, so the command use to bring up the network is ifup, I guess your network card is eth0 and ifup place in /sbin, if not correct please change it.

rc.local is a script your linux box will automatically execute after it turn on all other services. Should be work in your computer.

Regards,
Ks

I can /sbin/ifup eth0 after reboot. If I put it in rc.local still can not connect after reboot.

mii-tool:
eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD, link ok
