Network dial on demand ?

Is it possible to have a dial on demand internet connection on a network consisting of windows 2000 prof clients and a linux server with RH 7.3.

Basically i really don't want to have the connection permanently open, just to actually dial up when one of the clients needs to access email or the web.

I'm fairly new to all this so any help, advice or tips would be greatly appreciated

Try this question at Google.
It'll get you to sites like these:

I dont know about RH7.3 but here is a site that was helpful to me in setting up linux mandraken 8.0 dial on demand. Works beautifully with WinME, WinXP and Win98, Linux clients.
