Network design

I have a proxy running on my computer so I can restrict the kids if I need to but now I want to get our ageing mac back on the internet but am struggling to come up with the best solution.

I have an alix board with 2 wifi adapters and 1 nic
my pc with the proxy on with 1 nic
the mac with wifi
a voip phone
a cable modem

I would like …..

The Alix board as the firewall / wifi router
My pc as the proxy as I don’t think the alix board is upto it.
The mac online via wifi proxied through my machine
The phone through the firewall

Then I would like to enable access through the 2nd wifi card on the alix board to allow it to connect to the internet without passing through the proxy.

I have an unmanaged switch but as far as I can tell this is just not going to cut it. So does anyone has any ideas?

I have an old wifi card so if the above is not possible would I be able to install that and use monowall or similar on the alix board to route traffic to my main pc then back out?

Thanks

Sav

Run a small virtual machine router/firewall/proxy distro on the pc. Some are pretty small. Don't know how secure you want the kids to be. The more secure the larger the vm needs to be.
