I know this is a linux forum, but I thought I might try here anyways :P
I managed to mess up a network bridge.. but now I cant remove it :S.. whenever I go to delete it, it says unexpected error configuring network bridge.. the original idea was to bridge my wireless card - my ethernet card..
the idea.. my desktop runs off wireless, but I dont want to go and buy the wireless card for my laptop.. so I though I'd connect the laptop to my desktop via cross over cable.. steps on how I can set my windows networking up for this would be awesome..
but I need to remove the current bridge.. but it wont let me :S.. any tips?
(the laptop will have gentoo linux eventually, but I want to place a stage 1 install, which needs the internet connection)
try booting in safe mode (by hitting F8 a bunch of times during boot until u get a menu).
maybe that will let you delete the bridge.
