Network bandwidth graphing - Limited configurability but html or image

Hey there,

Does anyone know of a simple network bandwidth or traffic monitoring and graphing tool that requires very little installation. I dont want to have to install a web or mysql server but I'd like to be able to get the output on an html graph or maybe image files. SNMP is locked down sorta so I dont want to change its configuration so thats out, agent based is out as well. I'm just thinking even something simple that will record the traffic output to a file locally which can be converted to an HTML file report or images, or that will record the traffic which I can move to another system and generate graphs out of the data there. Maybe a way to generate the traffic and import it into ntop or cacti or something? On my other system I can install whatever I like such as web, mysql whatever is needed, I have a windows and linux system at my disposal.

Anyone heard of anything like this?

Thanks,

Iconx

Anything else?

Seems rsysusage needs rrdtools to run even remotely and for whatever reason this causes some extra issues cause Glib2 isnt installed on this system and neither is RRDtools. I dont want to have to make any major changes like that to the client system for it to run. Anything else read Sar into graphs or any other way to run this?
