network administration recommendation?
Hey Guys, I'm beginning to explore my way into the networks and linux network administration worlds, and i need your recommendations on books or pdfs to begin from, i already have done my homework and came out with: -Unix and linux administration handbook (has a network section in it) -network warrior -LPI linux certification in a nutshell(has a network section in it) are these enough, not enough, good, no good books to start from?? i need your help on that :) Thanks, |
Your question overlooks an important factor, namely, how do _you_ learn?
Personally, I learn by doing. So reference books (e.g. Linux Command Line and Shell Scripting Bible9 are more helpful than cover-to-cover material to me. This way I can open the book when I encounter a problem. Some people like to understand the entire concepts before getting around to actualizing them. What kind of cat are you? :) |
