Ok, i use Red Hat Linux 7.0 and dont use GNOME, nore KDE, thats because i installed a web sever, and DNS. What im trying todo is connect to my networking using a cable modem

Is their anyway i can add this nic, manually so that it will recongnize it when linux boots?

yes there is a way and it isn't that hard.

first you need to edit the file "/etc/modules.conf"
to include a line similar as follows
alias eth0 (module name) <--- input whatever file you use to start the nic via insmod xxxxxx
next you need to edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg_eth0
depending on how you want to setup this nic depends on what goes in here

USERCTL=yes
PEERDNS=yes
TYPE=Ethernet
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=none
# the above line is where you would setup DHCP if you so choose by
#setting it equal to DHCP instead of none.
ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=
NETMASK=
HWADDR=
GATEWAY=
NETWORK=
BROADCAST=

That should be all you need to do.
