netfilter hook problem

Hello everyone,
i have written a small program to monitor each packet passing
through a ethernet bridge of linux machine. This program is a kernel module and uses a netfilter hook.
Unfortunately in one of the linux machine I don't see any packet coming to my program at all. The same program works fine on many other machines. So it is not a netfilter hook problem but it is some machine configuration issue. Also i would like to mention that on this machines i have iptables screwed up. But as i am using kernel module i shouldn't be affected by that.
Thanks in advance.

Is this one using a different model nic?
It may not be compatiably to want you are doing. If you can swap nics around and setup correct modules and see if that makes a difference.

Cool

Re-install the Distro when YOU are ready. The new install will give YOU correct files to run and not give YOU Hard Drive with many files that need to be edited with editing applications,.. e.g. "VIM". It will be worth the time to change the Hard Drive Distro. If YOU are using a favorite Distro; or an older Distro, it will update YOUR files to the Distro YOU choose. Updating is sometimes debatable,...I'm mentioning it here as a method to increase compatibility with YOUR present choices, not as a broadcast for everyone to be current with the latest and greatest. So these are the three sides of the coin.
