I have managed to get my winmodem to work in my mandrake 7.2 installation of linux.

However I am a total newbie to linux, and I am having a lot of difficulty connecting to my DHCP internet.

Apparently I have to use netconf to connect, because the normal dialup exits as I am using a winmodem or some shit like that.

I have been reading through howtos all day, but they are all for an older version of netconf and are no help to me. Could someone please walk me through setting up netconf for connect with my modem.
