Hey all... I sat idle in irc waiting for someone to have a clue about this one, but I know I can get an answer here!
I am running Gentoo.. fairly up-to-date. Not posting in my distro forum because net-snmp is net-snmp
Mon Jun 8 12:00:29 2009 >>> net-analyzer/net-snmp-5.4.2.1
ok so I think there is an r1 upgrade but I doubt that will fix the issue.
I have been looking for a way to get some ipmi data into snmp... this guide looks the most promising.
https://hep.pa.msu.edu/twiki/bin/vie...DellCactiSetup
soo... everything appears to be fine except!
Code:
snmpd[14279]: /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf: line 16: Warning: Unknown token: CGI.
and that would be...
Code:
CGI extend .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.8.5 1 /bin/cat /dev/shm/dell.ipmi
any ideas? I would love to see this data in cacti!
Thanks!
