Need to setup DHCP on Slack 10

It detects my netcard and such but it won't get an IP from the network.

go to /etc/rc.d/ and make sure the settings in inetx.conf (x being whatever number card you are trying to configure) are correct. There will be a line reading "use dhcp" or something similar, which you will want to enter "yes". Then restart and youre good to go.
