need soho vpn hardware recommendation

Looking for soho vpn hardware that will support any sort of vpn client configurable by gnome's NetworkManager gui.

Have been happy using the Linksys WRV200/RV042 for a vpn solution, however I have been unable to configure any sort of linux client that could connect,i.e., this solution only seems to work between Linksys hardware to connect lans but not able to support any clients running under linux. So, it's useless for on the road lap-top access.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My guess is the linksys uses ipsec. http://www.ipsec-howto.org/t1.html

Should use openvpn too.

Not sure you can just use the gnome manager on that but I'd have to look that up.
