Need help with master-slave networking (llinux)
 

Hi, I a :newbie: of linux, just started on it like 2 days ago.
I have to set up a master-slave network using two computers running on linux.
Can someone give me a hint on how to get started?
How do the master issue a command?
And what response should the slave gives when it received a command? :(

What exactly are you trying to do? Setup a cluster? We could probably use a little more information

Do you mean you want to setup a DNS master and slave? Your post is a bit confusing.

Sorry about that, a total newbie I am. Yes trying to setup a small cluster. Will be either using ROCKS or BioBrew. Working on Fedora at the moment.

When i tried to install Rocks on the master, it stops at "sending request for ip information.
Isn't it suspose to reboot and ask me for a password instead?
