Question Need help to set up sattelite access to the Internet

I have Sky Star 2 dvb-s card, I have all needed modules (compiled into the kernel), I can watch sattelite TV (using mplayer). Now, I wish to set up sattelite access to the Internet (send data throw GPRS, recieve throw Sky Star 2). I thouth this is simple, but this is not...

What should I do? I search for howto, but didn't found anything useful! So, please help - at least give me a clue what to do. I'm experinced Linux user and programmer, so I do not need very detailed instructions, I just need some short clues (but of course if you can give detailed instructions - I will appreciate it)! I want to use sattelite Internet services with Globax without VPN. I already have globax installed with correct globax.conf.

Thank you.

Here's a LQ Linux Answer: Installing Skystar 2 in Linux with a lot of leads and a thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ad.php?t=97096.

Thanks for links but unfortunetally they didn't help me - as far as I understand this is instructions and discussions about how to set up Sky Star 2 under Linux. But as I said in my previous post my Sky Star 2 card is already configured properly. I can watch TV channels, etc.

My question is: how I can setup Internet access throw my sattelite provider. I already have account with positive balance so I only need to set up it. This do not depend from DVB-S card model at all.

If someone have experince how to set up sattelite access to the Internet, please help. I really didn't found any working howto about this! So I think that this is good idea to write one... But at least give some clue how I can set up sattelite Internet under Linux.

Idea is simple. I have sattelite provider (for receiving packets) and GPRS provider (for sending). *Maybe* I can use VPN but maybe not (depending on the GPRS provider - some of them have problems with GRE). So if you have experience with this (ADSL, etc. is often used instead of GPRS but configuration procedure is always the same) - please help! Give me at least short clue!

Thanks...
