Need Help In Solving This Squid Problem Of Mine... Asap...


Hello,

Just registered on this site thinking that maybe i can get help from the guros of opensource who reagularly contribute on this site...


My problem is i have this RH ver 9.0 where i run the squid2.4 stable. I encountered this problem just a few days ago in the squid, where i found out that i can no longer connect to its proxy..Heres the error message.. /etc/init.d/squid: line 147: 1417 aborted $SQUID -k check > /dev/null 2>&1 starting sqyud: FAILED


i already rebooted my machine a couple of times already and check the squid.conf for an error... i really just couldn't find out... please help

What does line 147 of the /etc/init.d/squid file say?

Also, what happens of you start Squid manually with the squid command?
