Need help creating an IPSec/Racoon script

Here is my situation. I'm configuring RHEL4 to use IPSec with a printer. I can't get a connection between the two using IPSec. I need to use a pre shared key between them (a key that I create), dh group 2, md5, and 3des algorithms. I can't upload any scripts onto the printer. I've made an ipsec.conf file in /etc and have edited /etc/racoon/psk.txt as well as /etc/racoon/racoon.conf. I can't figure out how to make this work properly. Can someone help? I've got everything configured on the printer side properly, just not on RHEL4.
