ndiswrapper IS working, only...

Hey guys, I just recently installed Ubuntu (intrepid) on my Toshiba and realized that my wireless card required windows drivers. I've installed ndiswrapper and the appropriate drivers and it appears to be working, only the wireless card is not being recognized by network tools or manager. Its also saying that I have no wlan devices. I can provide more information if needed, I'd just really like to get this fixed. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

If the system is saying you have no WLAN devices, how do you mean that the drivers appear to be working?
