NAT rule not working. any help

hello.
i have a vpn running on my lan and it was working a few days a go, i had a linux centos 5.2 running as vpn client and routing the 2 lans the vpn and mine..

i have the following rule

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -d 192.168.100.0/24 -j SNAT --to-source 192.168.50.98

where 192.168.100.0/24 is the vpn network
and
192.168.50.98 my centos server.

i just had to add route to all the windows machines and they could ping the vpn, but now not even the server cna ping the vpn when usign that rule.

can some one help me on this please.

Why on earth

Why on Earth do you do that? You could just push a route back to the rest of the network to your VPN client.

Anyway, I don't know, that IP your VPN server is, but it should probably be excluded from this rule. If that doesn't help, please paste your whole firewall setup with detailed IP descriptions.
