my hostname has been changed from my computer name to localhost

Hi All,

I noticed that my hostname has been changed from my computer name to localhost, as shown below.

[johnsanty@localhost ~]$ hostname
localhost.localdomain
[johnsanty@localhost ~]$

Before my hostname is always my computer name but suddenly it has been changed. Do you know the cause of this? How can I change it back to my computer name? Thanks for youn prompt reply...

goto:
file:/etc/network
look for a small file named "interfaces"
carefully edit the file as you see fit.
