The company I get my web-hosting through, Runhosting.com, has been down for nearly twenty-four hours. All possible customer support levels: attractsoft.com, zettahost.com are down as well.
The question is, does anyone here know what's going on?
If you have a laptop or netbook, try connecting from a public wifi location, say, at a coffee shop. If you have a smartphone with its own data connection (one that goes through the carrier, not through your personal connection), try with it.
You could also try a traceroute. If the connection is failing outside of your home network, it might give you a hint as to where.
You could also try calling them. I got these numbers off their site:
