My hosting provider down

The company I get my web-hosting through, Runhosting.com, has been down for nearly twenty-four hours. All possible customer support levels: attractsoft.com, zettahost.com are down as well.

The question is, does anyone here know what's going on?

this is interesting, I just went through a proxy and everything works fine. That means that my ip is being blocked, right?

How can I find out if this is actually the case?

I've checked and don't have a static ip first time ip was xxx.xx.xx.234, next time xxx.xx.xx.219

A little help here please. Something is up and I think it might be on my end.

I was able to connect to http://runhosting.com/ easily also.

If you have a laptop or netbook, try connecting from a public wifi location, say, at a coffee shop. If you have a smartphone with its own data connection (one that goes through the carrier, not through your personal connection), try with it.

You could also try a traceroute. If the connection is failing outside of your home network, it might give you a hint as to where.

You could also try calling them. I got these numbers off their site:

Quote:
New York Sales Team
On business days:
8:30 AM - 16:30 PM EST
Phone: +1 347 223 5853

London Sales Team
On business days:
7:30 AM - 5:30 PM GMT
Phone: +44 20 8 1234 790

AttractSoft GmbH
Mathildenstr. 18
24148 Kiel, Germany
UST-IdNr.: DE247506950
Email: billing@attractsoft.com
Sales or billing should be able to connect you with support.

I could not find any toll-free numbers or support email addresses on their website.

I was thinking about this today. One possibility I forgot was this: clear your browser cache and, if you have one, try a different browser.

Next time, God Forbid, if there is one, try proxify, com or hidemyass.com or http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/domain.com

Any 1\2 way competent Level I tech should ask for a traceroute, so be prepared

terminal >
Code:
traceroute domain.com
