Unhappy My apache1.3.34-rewrite-module's log has always empty, why?

Hello, all
my apache 1.3.34 with mod_rewrite.
my httpd.confabout mod_rewrite:

Quote:
RewriteLogLevel 3
RewriteLog "/home/logs/rw.log"

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} \.testrw\.com [NC]
......
RewriteRule xxxxxxx
......
In despite of the RewriteRule directive to be performed correct or incorrect, the Rewrite log file always empty.
then, If I use apache2.0.54, the same mod_rewrite's rulesets, the logfile had records.

How can I deal with it about apache1.3.34 ?
any idea for thx very much.
