mutt retrieves already retrieved messages from POP server

Hi,
Everytime I download messages from my POP server, mutt retrieves all the messages there irrespective of the fact that it might have already retrieved some messages before. As a result, I am having multiple copies of the same message which I am having to delete manually. FYI my .muttrc file has the "set pop_last" option set to yes.

Regards,

Sanjiv
