Mutiple NIC Issue

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with my server.
There are 3 NICs in my server. One connected to the local network and the other two are connected to two separate adsl internet connections.Details are as follows.

1)Local network card(eth1).

IP : 10.4.0.101
Mask : 255.255.0.0
Gateway : Nil

2)Adsl with Static public IP(eth2)

IP : 87.236.139.10
Mask : 255.255.255.248
Gateway : 87.236.139.9(router)

3) Another Adsl(eth0)

IP : 192.168.0.7
Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.0.15(router with port forward enabled to 192.168.0.7)

And the default gateway is 192.168.0.15.The problem is that, i am unable to reach eth0 from outside with this configuration. If i remove the gateway of eth2 then i will be able to reach eth0 but wn't be able to reach eth2.I tried by adding 'default gateway' seperately for both eth0 and eth2 by route command with no success.

At a time i am able to reach any one of the NICs only.Anyone please help me to fix this problem so that i can reach my server through both of the NICs from outside.

Thanks..

The "another ADSL" IP address you give is an "internal" address, same with the gateway address. Most of these boxes have both an internal IP address and an external "real" address, and do NAT to connect the internal clients to the Internet.

Seems like a problem with the ADSL modem setup, connection or whatever.

Hi Pencode,

Nothing is wrong with the ADSL modem setup.yeah,192.168.0.0 is an internal address itself.I am using port forwarding from the adsl router to 192.168.0.7.All traffic reaching 192.168.0.15 will be forwarded to 192.168.0.7.As already said if i remove the gateway of the eth2 NIC,then i am able to reach the server through the NIC eth0.

I don't understand what it is that you're trying to do. You say that you want to reach your server from the outside. What is it that you're trying to do?
