multiple tcpdumps running simultaneously?

What is supposed to be the behavior of tcpdump (and other libpcap based tools) when there are multiple processes listening on the same interface? Ie, if you have 2 tcpdumps running on eth0, or you had kismet and wireshark both running on the same running wireless card?

There's no expected behaviour other than "it works". You can have multiple libpcap-based applications listening without problems.
* If that is not the answer you are looking for then you should be way more verbose and add examples of what you mean.
