Multiple Internet Access Interface Managment:Debian Based

Ok, heres the deal. I have a system set up as the router for my cable internet connection and i am also in range of my univeristies secured wireless network (needed to access internal pages, aswell as regular internet access) and basically im wondering if there is any easy way to:
a:"merge" both connections, as in, both connections used simultaneously to share internet bandwidth (im using iptables firewall and squid proxy serving the rest of my internal network)
b:Set applications to use one connection or the other, eg, firefox goes to the internal wireless network while bittorrent stays on the cable.

Any help with this would be great.
