Multicast?
Is there any way to get linux to act as a multicast router without having to recompile it with the needed flags? Is there an rpm or something that I can install?

Please do not be offended, because no offence is meant, but I don't think that anybody else is going to reply to your post, because you have not supplied sufficient information. So I am offering you some advice.
Please read http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...Ask_a_Question And, perhaps, this link, which is maybe less polite but will tell you all you need to know (and then some ;) ) http://www.linuxsilo.net/docs/smart-questions_en.html Then try again. Best wishes. |
I'm not sure what info is missing (other than maybe the distro, I'm using which is CentOS 5) but I found out Windows XP is supposed to support multicast with little configuration so I'm going to try that out.
