moving files from XP system to slackware file server via WinSCP

Hello Friends,

I have previously moved all my audio files to the linux file server on my LAN using an ftp tool called WinSCP. That went great. But when I am now attempting to move more stuff (I started with images), I encounter a server error 'cannot create remote file' & 'permission denied' & 'error code:3' & 'error message from server: Permission denied' & 'request code 3'

I do not know why the file server should be considering these image files any differently than the audio files.

Anybody know what gives?

Zarb

Just a guess: improper permissions for the directory into which you want to move the images?
