I've just worked on the same issue and have mounted Novell NetWare 6.0 NSS volumes from Suse 10.1 using the NCPFS package. Should be much the same for Suse 10.2 and NetWare 6.5 I imagine (or is that madness to suggest, I wonder?)

Wasn't too difficult but I found it befitted the term "a real learning experience", shall we say! There are fragments of how to do this around the place but nothing that covers it in the detail that a beginner might need (as is my case). Also, I haven't quoted all the sources I found to make it work as the article is primarily intended for my own records and not really of publishable standard, but I hope it helps!
