Question mounting

Okey here is the story:
I have an Win XP box and a Linux laptop.
I connect them througha a crosslink cable and their network cards. I am able to ping between them. But the thing I am trying to do is to mount a shared folder on my XP box on my Linux Mandrake 8.2 laptop. So that I can send files between them. I put the IP address of the XP box into my /etc/hosts file so I can ping the name of my XP box directly. Then I put this line in my /etc/fstab:
"XP name":/Documents /root/Docs nfs noauto 0 0
then when I try to "mount /root/Docs" I get this error message:
mount: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to receive

Do you guys or girls know anything that could help me??

Thanks, BK
