i have redhat 9 running on one machine. i have windows 2k server running on another machine. i want to mount a drive in fstab file to connect from the linux machine to the windows machine. can somebody tell me how to do that? i am having a lot of problems getting it connected. thanks for the help
We need more details.
how does your mount command look like? what are the error messages you get?
you will explicitly have to specify the filesystem type (smbfs).
try the manual mount command before modifying the fstab.
