mount.nfs: Connection timed out - Slack 12.1

When I attempt to:
<# mount 192.168.2.3:/home /mnt/computera> from Computer B

I get:
mount.nfs: Connection timed out

I have a mixed wired/wireless network. Computer A (192.168.2.3) is wireless laptop. Computer B (192.168.2.2) is wired desktop connected to wireless router. Both are up-to-date Slack 12.1 systems. No firewall on either computer. Firewall on cable modem. Both machines are both server and client.

My Computer A configuration is:
Quote:
/etc/exports
/home 192.168.2.3(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
/mnt 192.168.2.3(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
/media 192.168.2.3(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)

/etc/hosts.allow
portmap: 192.168.2.2
lockd: 192.168.2.2
rquotad: 192.168.2.2
mountd: 192.168.2.2
statd: 192.168.2.2
nfs: 192.168.2.2

/etc/hosts.deny
portmap:ALL
lockd:ALL
rquotad:ALL
mountd:ALL
statd:ALL
My Computer B configuration is:
Quote:
/etc/exports
/home 192.168.2.2(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
/mnt 192.168.2.2(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
/media 192.168.2.2(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)

/etc/hosts.allow
portmap: 192.168.2.3
lockd: 192.168.2.3
rquotad: 192.168.2.3
mountd: 192.168.2.3
statd: 192.168.2.3
nfs: 192.168.2.3

/etc/hosts.deny
portmap:ALL
lockd:ALL
rquotad:ALL
mountd:ALL
statd:ALL
My test results following NFS Troubleshooting Guide are:
Quote:
Both machines <ping> each other and <tracepath> displays expected results. I can ssh between both machines.

Computer A: <# id user-xxx>
uid=1000 (xxx) gid=100 (users)

Computer B: <# id user-xxx>
uid=1000 (xxx) gid=100 (users)

rpcinfo results are available from both machines (locally and remotely) and are the same:
<# rpcinfo -p 192.168.2.3>
program vers proto port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100024 1 udp 33927 status
100024 1 tcp 55985 status
100011 1 udp 778 rquotad
100011 2 udp 778 rquotad
100011 1 tcp 781 rquotad
100011 2 tcp 781 rquotad
100021 1 udp 49662 nlockmgr
100021 3 udp 49662 nlockmgr
100021 4 udp 49662 nlockmgr
100003 2 udp 2049 nfs
100003 3 udp 2049 nfs
100003 4 udp 2049 nfs
100021 1 tcp 51527 nlockmgr
100021 3 tcp 51527 nlockmgr
100021 4 tcp 51527 nlockmgr
100003 2 tcp 2049 nfs
100003 3 tcp 2049 nfs
100003 4 tcp 2049 nfs
100005 1 udp 52243 mountd
100005 1 tcp 41099 mountd
100005 2 udp 52243 mountd
100005 2 tcp 41099 mountd
100005 3 udp 52243 mountd
100005 3 tcp 41099 mountd
I have rebooted the machines several times as well as restarting the rpc and nfsd services several times. I have also re exported the export file <exportfs -ra>.

I'm still getting the mount.nfs: Connection timed out message and the mount fails.

Any ideas about how I went wrong and what I can do to resolve the issue?
