modprobe eepro problems

I am having trouble getting Redhat 7.1 to recognize my intel ether express pro/10+ card. I had it working fine under 5.2, but now that I have upgraded, I can't get it to work.

during boot the system appears to recognize the fact that the card is PnP. Its driver is not loaded after boot, however. When I type lsmods eepro is not there.

I have tried modprobe eepro io=0x0210, irq=4 as well as several other irqs, but none of them seem to work. The eepro drive gets listed when I do lsmod, but the irq is not assigned in /proc/interrupts. /proc/ioports lists the io fine.

I used to use irq=4, (on RH5.2) and when I did
modprobe it would return with some information about the driver's author and other stuff. Now
it just returns without any info.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Dave
