Modem link to desktop
 

Just installed Mandrake 9.2
Amazing, everything works right off, no problems. Unlike RH9 or SuSe 8.2.
I just want to link the Network connector to the desktop, so that two clicks connects.
At the moment I have to go , Mandrake Control Centre, enter root password, Networking, Connect.
I would like an icon, double click and your on!
Any tips anyone?

I used to do that using wvdial. You can install and set up wvdial in parallel to whatever software Mandrake uses to dial out and then use whichever one you prefer.
