Micro Core Linux - Wireless connectivity problem

Hi, so I have installed Micro Core onto a usb of mine and am running it on my laptop. I have been able to successfully obtain a connection and valid ip with my router. As you can see below my wireless connection seems valid computer-end and on my router's page it comes under the list of attached devices. Although this is all fine and dandy, I'm am unable to ping my router or any other computer on my network, I am also unable to ping my laptop from other computers on the network.

Also by the looks of it I have having no trouble transmitting, but I am not receiving any packets.

Output of ifconfig wlan0:
Code:
wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1B:77:55:C3:9C
          inet addr:192.168.1.63 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:6870 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:10 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:1345181 (1.2 MiB) TX bytes:1480 (1.4 KiB)

Output of cat /etc/resolv.conf:
Code:
nameserver 192.168.1.1

Thanks in advance,
Dave

I had already checked and rechecked the gateway...
Although after a few more hours of poking around I simply gave up on the matter...
