Masqdialer clients

I've been using the KDE masqdiaer client for a whie, but since I've switched to Fluxbox I wanted to try one that doesn't load the KDE stuff (slows it down). The cli client dials but then hangs itself up. I'd like to use the Tcl/Tk client but it goes into an infinite loop with "Read sock: Blocked" and I have to use 'kill -9' on it. The Qt client wont 'make' and the Perl and Java clients aren't available anymore.

Is anyone familiar with masqdialer and the tk client? Or know where to find the perl and java clients? Better yet, does anyone know something more up-to-date to switch to?
