Marvell Yukon PCI-E network adaptor

I have a laptop with a onboard Marvell Yukon PCI-E network adaptor. I am trying to install Gentoo linux using the minimal boot cd. Everything comes up fine but my network adaptor isnt detected. I tried modprobe skge and a few other modules, but nothing worked. I was wondering if anyone knew if a PCI-E network adaptor will work with linux/gentoo and how to get gentoo to recognize my adaptor so I can complete the install. Thanks

Shouldn't that NIC use the sk98lin module?
