map linux network drive (partition) accessible by windows...
i need to map a network drive on my computer (that i will be "hosting") so that it can be accessible by both linux and windows machines on my network...
i know this is easy in windows but i havent been able to figure this out. i've tried samba etc. but that too, i cannot get to work. |

ya. i can 'find' it in konqueror, but not on windows networks. even when i find it in konqueror though, it never recognizes my username/password
