many hdds mounted on 1 directory

Hi!

Is it possible to mount many different hard drives, which are in many different PCs, onto one directory? The directory can be on an NFS server.
Thanks.

Nikos.

Short answer, no. You can do that with multiple drives and partitions in one box with LVM but that only works with block devices, not on NFS shares.
I assume you want to use the space on numerous networked drives to act as one share or partition; that's not possible AFAIK.
