Mandriva 2007 NFS laptop keyboard problem
I have installed Mandriva 2007 on my laptop, which is connected to an ADSL router. Also connected to the router is a desktop running Mandriva 2007 set up as an NFS server, and another desktop NFS client running Mandriva 2005.
The fstab on both the laptop and desktop client have the following:
DESKTOP:/home/john /home/Server/john nfs rsize=8192,wsize=8192,nosuid,soft 0 0
If I boot the laptop after the server has booted, everything functions as it should.
If I boot the laptop with the network cable disconnected, the laptop functions normally.
If I boot the laptop with the network cable connected (to access the internet), but without booting the server, the keyboard on the laptop is dead.
If I rem the above line in fstab, and boot the laptop with the network cable connected, but without booting the server, the laptop functions normally (except for NFS).
The client desktop functions normally whether or not the server is booted (except the NFS does not work without the server), and this was not the case when I had Mandriva 2006 installed on the laptop.
What do I need to do to enable the laptop keyboard when the network cable is connected when the server is off?
