Mandrake 9.2 and Voyager 200 Router

I am about to install Linux on my machine, I have all of the necessary files to install Mandrake, all I need to do is defrag and partition my hard drive.

I want to be able to use the internet when I install but I don't have any of the necessary drivers compatible with Linux for my BT Voyager 200 router. I have been looking on the web but all I can find are settings for the Voyager modem, many of which involve messing around with the firmware, something I don't want to have to do.

Has anyone had any experience I setting up this device or know a way to do it without playing around with the firmware.

I did find this but I don't know what it means linux-usb.org/USB-guide/x332.html

Your device is a modem/router with one ethernet port and one usb port. Correct me if I'm wrong. If you want to use usb, your likely to have problems. Using ethernet and dhcp should be no problem in linux; it will probably autoconfigure for you in most linux distros. I'd recommend picking up a nic; they're very cheap and it will save you a lot of hassles. Your internet connection will also work better in windows with an ethernet interface.
