Mandrake 8.2 and Windows XP

Hello all, I am new to linux and have a question
I am running a Mandrake Linux 8.2 web and mail server.
I had 2 windows 98 machines networked to it. The server in on a dsl line and the PCs connect to it through the server. I just replace 1 of the PCs and and it has XP on it. I cannot connect to the internet now. I can ping the other PC but I cannot ping the server. I do not know where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Please clarify.

Are the two Windows PCs unable to connect to the internet or just one is unable to connect ?

Are you using a Hub or switch or multiple network cards ?
Do all the PCs have static IPs ?

The windows 98 connects fine but the Windows Xp will not connect.
I am using a hub and the PCs are setup with DHCP not static

On your WindowsXP PC, make sure the Gateway is the IP of the Linux server.
In winXP, you can use the ipconfig command to verify network information.
