Making Windows shares writable when mounting in RH9

I'm mounting a Windows (Win2k Adv Server) share which contains a fair bit of our old data on my RH9 workstation using the following command:

"mount -smbfs -t -o username=[username],password=[password] //[computer_name}/[share_name] /home/[mount_point]"

Oddly, it then asks for a password, which I type in (same as that supplied in command) and it mounts, seemingly OK.

I can read stuff from it no wories, but cannot write to the share...What am I missing?

Thanks in advance...

Dumb question, but is the share defined as writeable when It was setup in Window2000?

yeah first check win2k share if it s enabled write access for this user..

and if win2k shares is ok, try to mount it in /mnt directory.. i mount windows shares in directories in /mnt .. it works here.
