Angry Making a router!!!


I need to set up a network,I have a Lan City Modem,a athlon 900mhz 20 gb hdd 128 mb sdram 2 pci network cards and 20 workstations.I hace buyed a class of Ip from my provider.I`ve installed Mandrake 8.2 on the server..and i need internet connection sharing and firewall.the problem is that i`m very confused on what shoul i use..iptables..ipmasq..dunno .I have read many tutorials but i don`t really get it.Pls provide me a tutorial ..or something...

just use IPtables, read some docs about it at www.linuxdocs.org

You are looking for IP masquerading using Iptables. Search here for either or both of those terms and you will find a wealth of information and examples.

huh

i`ve downloaded Jay's Iptables Firewall v 0.9.2 i`ve read the help and the faq .and every thing seemn to be ok? Any oppinions?!

Your kidding! Does Home Depot really sell routers? My friend lives in that place.
