make US Robotice USR 5411 work on FC 6


I am extremely new to linux, and I need to make my HP Pavilion ZE5400 able to use its US robotice USR 5411 network card work on FC 6. Need extremely simple instructions.

FC6 has a tool called "network device control" to handle this. Have you tried it?

Here's some commandline stuff, if NDC dosn't work for you:

lspci (lists your pci cards - report the line dealing with your ethernet card)
ifconfig (the output tells you about your network connections)
ifup eth0 (the most likely command to start your ethernet card)

The output of each of these commands can be a great help to setting your card up.
