Lubuntu 14.04.1: Setting the default dateway

I need to set the default gateway to 192.168.1.254.

I'd modify my /etc/network/interfaces, but I can't find my eth0 in that file. I have DHCP enabled. My interfaces now looks like
Code:
# interfaces(5) file used by ifup(8) and ifdown(8)
auto lo
iface lo net loopback
gateway 192.168.1.254
I still don't reach the web. What am I missing?
